Blair Allan is an accomplished equestrian professional and the founder and head trainer of EquiBallance Stables. With a strong background in competitive riding and horse management, she has cultivated a reputation for excellence in the hunter/jumper and equitation disciplines.​

Early Life and Education

Growing up in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, Blair's passion for equestrian sports was evident from a young age. Pursuing her passion academically, Blair enrolled at Delaware Valley University, majoring in Equine Management with a focus on Business Management.

Collegiate Equestrian Career

At Delaware Valley University, Blair was a standout member of the Hunt Seat Equestrian Team serving as Captain, Co-Captain and Secretary throughout her four years. Competing in the Open Fences and Open Flat divisions, she demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication. Her contributions were pivotal during the 2016–17 and 2017–18 seasons, where she consistently delivered strong performances in intercollegiate competitions. 

Blair graduated with a degree in Equine Business and Management from Delaware Valley University. She is certified through the British Horse Society in Stages 1,2, 3 and passed her Preliminary Teaching Test. She was also awarded the Equestrian Department Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership and Academic Excellence. 

Professional Experience

Following her collegiate success, Blair advanced to professional roles within the equestrian industry up and down the east coast. Roles ranged from grooming, clipping, riding, training, teaching, trailering and traveling. 

EquiBallance Stables

Building upon her extensive experience, Blair founded EquiBallance Stables. The facility is dedicated to providing top-tier training and care, emphasizing a balanced approach to horse and rider development. EquiBallance focuses on building strong foundations by teaching riders at home, ensuring they develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed at horse shows.
